The decision to arrest must be made quickly and without the opportunity to confer with their supervisor.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The officer shall promptly communicate to other staff the present situation and the need for assistance. Depending on the circumstances of the situation, the officer may need to take immediate intervening action before arrival of additional staff assistance.
