Law Library Kiosks
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) also provides access to the law library via touch-screen kiosks. These are accessible to incarcerated individuals in restricted movement areas of CDCR institutions, such as administrative segregation, orientation, and medical units. By placing kiosks in these areas, CDCR is better able to provide access to the law library to all incarcerated individuals. Through the digital touch-screen interface, the kiosk provides incarcerated individuals access to a large legal database while simultaneously helping them develop both research and digital literacy skills.
Available at all CDCR institutions.
