Ronald Broomfield is the Warden of San Quentin State Prison. He was appointed in 2020.

He previously served as Chief Deputy Warden of San Quentin from 2017 to 2020 before becoming Warden.

Broomfield has been working in the field of corrections since 2017. He is an advocate for social justice, equity & prison reform.
