Requests to switch between the Monday\u2013Thursday and Friday\u2013Sunday visiting groups will not be accepted at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FAMILY VISITING OVERNIGHT FOR IP\u2019S ASSIGNED TO WORK\/PRIVILEGE GROUP A1\/A ARE PERMITTED TO ONE (1) FAMILY VISIT EVERY NINTY (90) DAYS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors failing to report to the visitor processing area by 11:00<br>a.m. without the notification and approval of the family visiting<br>coordinators are subject to cancellation of the visit and suspension of<br>family visiting program privileges for six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">EFFECTIVE AUGUST 15, 2025, CMF WILL BEGIN UTILIZING INSTACART FOR FAMILY VISITING FOOD PURCHASES, PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-gold-400-color\">PLEASE NOTE FOOD ORDERS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE STORE ONLY PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM MULTIPLE STORES  <\/mark><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Incarcerated persons and Visitors scheduled for a Family Visit shall utilize Instacart grocery delivery services to purchase all food for their Family Visit. The following items will be prohibited for purchase; alcohol, non-alcoholic spirits, tobacco\/tobacco products, and food items in glass containers, energy drinks and chewing gum. Refer to Instacart instructions for California Medical Facility Visiting. In the event your items arrive in glass staff will contact you to bring a transferable container. CMF is not responsible for providing a container. <br><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-gold-400-color\"><strong>To ensure there are no delays, visitors shall have their groceries ordered and delivered via Instacart, 24 hours in advance of their scheduled family visit between the hours of 6am and noon.<\/strong><\/mark> <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-gold-400-color\">Be advised CMF does not have the storage to hold food items earlier then one day prior to your visit therefore to ensure you visit isn\u2019t cancelled we ask that you read all the Instacart instructions  <\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><br>If a visit is cancelled for any reason and cannot be rescheduled the incarcerated person may choose one (1) of the following three (3) options for the disposition of the ordered Family Visit food items:<br>\u2022 Donate to CMF contingency<br>\u2022 Send home at their expense<br>\u2022 Have it destroyed<br>California Medical Facility is not liable for Instacart order errors, damaged or missing items. All disputes with orders will need to be filed by the account holder directly with Instacart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">When ordering your groceries please ensure you note your loved one\u2019s name and CDC number. Ensure your delivery driver drops your groceries off at the designated location with a visiting staff member.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*Note: CMF is not liable for lnstacart order errors, damaged or missing items. All disputes with orders will need to be filed by the account holder directly with lnstacart.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">**<strong>Please reach out to the Family Visiting Officer to receive instructions for delivering and ordering. *<\/strong>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> Orders delivered outside of the listed time frames may result in reschedule of your Family visit   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-gold-400-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CMF DONATION PROCESS!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All donations require a completed donation form. Once the items are approved you will receive an email from the Community Resource Office. Once you receive your approval you may then bring your donated items to the A side front entrance with a copy of your approval. Please note we will ONLY accept donations between the hours of 8am-12pm Monday-Friday due to our warehouse hours. Any donations brought in after will have to be turned away until the following business day between those hours. This includes items being donated to Family Visiting including DVD\u2019s <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-green-800-color has-gold-400-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-60f8c0efd7fb2d51c0db25cc9fd078d4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ALLOWABLE VISITING ITEMS AND CLOTHING \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0Miscellaneous Items<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One pair of prescription eyeglasses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One handkerchief or a small package of tissues, NO BANDANAS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One comb and\/or hairbrush, non-metallic, no pointed ends or detachable parts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two keys on a ring with no other attachments. One key may be an electronic car key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid State\/Federal Identification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One transparent coin purse, maximum two compartments, maximum size of 6\u201dx 8\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One Hundred dollars per adult visitor and fifty dollars per minor visitor, coin or one-dollar bills only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ten (10) photos or documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following items are permitted, as needed, and upon submission of verifiable documentation from a medical doctor that a physical or mental limitation exists, for visitors who require reasonable accommodations to ensure that proper hygiene is met: The physician\u2019s written statement shall include the physician\u2019s medical license number, address, and phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 One to two articles of clothing (pants).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Two adult incontinence products (diapers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 A container of cleaning wipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Wheelchair and one additional assistive device<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Visitors over 36\u201d tall shall adhere to the following dress standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Shoes or sandals shall be worn at all times. Shower shoes and bedroom slippers will not be allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Buttons, snaps, and zippers shall remain fastened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Thick strapped under shirt at least 2 inches in width shall be worn beneath translucent clothing, under all circumstances. No thin or spaghetti strap tank tops  \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3d6b61e4ba9957518080c30946a64d40 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#c7370f\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">\u00a0\u2022 For security reasons, no brassiere will have metal underwire. Brassieres must be worn at all times to enter the institution.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 All shorts and skirts, including slits in the garment, shall not expose more than two inches above the knee when standing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-gold-400-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PROHIBITED ATTIRE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prohibited attire consists of, but is not limited to, the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8be0eef3535bdcb9985b7fd876c8b59b wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#c7370f\" class=\"has-inline-color\">\u2022 Clothing that resembles state-issued inmate clothing worn to visiting (e.g., blue denim or blue chambray shirts and blue denim pants, reception center attire).<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Clothing that resembles law enforcement or military-type clothing, including raingear, when not legitimately worn by an individual on active duty or in an official capacity. Clothing that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Clothing that Exposes the breast\/chest area, genitals, or buttocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 By design, manner worn, or due to the absence of, allows the anatomical detail of body parts or midriff to be clearly viewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Clothing that is shear or transparent or excessively tight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Attire or accessories displaying obscene\/offensive language, drawings, or objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Head coverings, readily removable hair pieces, or gloves, with the exception of clear see-through rain gear for inclement weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Any other clothing, garment, or accessory that when compared to the expressly specified standards above would warrant disapproval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0Exceptions: Hats, wigs, gloves, or hairpieces are permitted with the prior written approval of the institution head or designee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Approval shall be based on verification of the visitor\u2019s necessity to wear the hat, wig, gloves, or hairpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u2022 Approval of hats and gloves shall be based on weather conditions at the institution\/facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Approved hats, wigs, gloves, or hairpieces shall be inspected by visiting staff prior to the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-gold-400-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ALLOWABLE VISITING ITEMS FOR INFANT\u2019S AND TODDLERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cInfant\u201d means a child less than 12 months of age.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cToddler\u201d means a child 12 to 36 months of age. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Six (6) factory sealed single serving packets of baby formula or four (4) transparent plastic baby bottles or cups that are empty or contain premixed formula, milk, almond milk, soy, or rice milk and or juice\/water. A breast pump and associated supplies (refrigerated or frozen breastmilk). \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Six (6) non glass containers of baby food or snacks in factory sealed packaging.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two (2) plastic spoons.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ten (10) disposable diapers.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One (1) factory sealed package of baby wipes.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three (3) changes of clothes<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two (2) small blankets<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two (2) pacifiers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three (3) burp cloths.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One (1) tube of factory sealed diaper cream.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A baby carrier or wrap<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A clear plastic diaper bag Two (2) non-battery-operated toys or (2) books and or 10 pages of homework or coloring pages \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-gold-400-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>APPROVALS <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please be advised visiting applications CDCR 106 forms will be processed within 30 working days of the day visiting receives them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Inmates housed in quarantine\/outbreak units will be eligible to program if they consent to Point of Contact COVID-19 testing on days 1,3,5 and 7, however this program DOES NOT apply to overnight family visiting. Units I-1 and HTC-D side is designated isolation units are authorized to participate in visiting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-gold-400-background-color has-background\"><strong>ACCESS TO INSTITUTIONS AFFECTED<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CDCR urges those traveling to our institutions to plan ahead for a safe trip.<br>Before heading to an institution for an in-person visit, download the Quick Map app or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/quickmap.dot.ca.gov\/\">https:\/\/quickmap.dot.ca.gov\/<\/a> \u00a0for up-to-the-minute information on road conditions, traffic, closures, chain control, and more.<br>If an institution must cancel visiting due to conditions such as weather, those with an appointment will receive a notice through the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). The maximum number of visitors per inmate is 5 for in-person visiting. The maximum number of visitors for non-contact visiting will be limited to 3. Kids under the age of 2 are welcome.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mental Health Crisis Bed<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-legal visits within the MHCB shall be pre-approved, on a case-by case basis, by the Inter-Disciplinary Treatment Team. Visits will be conducted in the MHCB under Non-Contact status for a Maximum of one (1) hour in duration.
