We are currently attempting to revert the cancellations however that may not be possible. Our staff has made sure that only the proper CDCR 106 forms available for the population contain the proper date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Vending Machine price increase notice was received on June 4, 2025. New prices will go in effect on July 18, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Calipatria State Prison will have a Visiting Officer stationed at the Gatehouse (Guard shack) to process visitors<strong> beginning at 11:30 am (Fridays)<\/strong>, and 8:30 a.m. (<strong>Saturday-Sunday) processing will begin<\/strong> promptly to check visitors onto the facility. Upon entering the institution, Visitors will park in the Visiting parking lot as usual and be required to check in with the Officers inside the Visiting Processing Area. The Visiting Officer will return on Friday afternoons to allow walk-ins to enter institutional grounds at 2:30p.m, as soon as the Visiting Officer arrives to the gatehouse on Saturday and Sunday&#8217;s walk-ins will be allowed to enter institutional grounds at 11: 30a.m. Visitors are not allowed to wait in the visiting parking lot before the walk-in process. Visitors will continue to park along Blair Rd, in the order of their arrival, visitors who are caught cutting line maybe subject in having their visitations denied for the day. Visitors are reminded to remain respectful, courteous and safe to one another, there is NO RUNNING on institutional grounds. Please contact Calipatria State Prison Visiting Staff if you have any questions.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visitor Screening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors shall be required to submit to metal detection devices (walk-thru detector and\/or hand-held detector) and a thorough search of all personal items, including inspection of a wheelchair and other assistive devices prior to being allowed to visit an inmate. All visitors shall successfully pass through the detector unless a documented medical condition or disability exists that would preclude the visitor from passing through the detector. Additional screening may be required such as clothed\/unclothed body searches and may cause a delay or even prevent visiting. Consent shall be obtained from the visitor prior to the search by signing a CDCR 888, Notice of Request for search, giving consent to staff to search. Visitor\/s do not have to consent to clothed\/unclothed body searches; however, your visit shall be denied for that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calipatria State Prison is Open for three day In-Person Visitation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calipatria State Prison\u2019s visiting room\u2019s capacity has been increased; as a result of this, the VSA has been updated to increase the number of available appointments in Facilities A, B, and D visiting rooms from 23 to 40 appointments at a time. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to retain the status of approved visitor, a new CDCR form 106 visiting questionnaires shall be submitted, the frequency of any periodic update initiated by the institution\/facility shall be no more than once every <strong>TWO YEARS.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Please continue to check the statuses below for institution-specific information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-green-600-color has-text-color\">Access to Institution Affected<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>CDCR urges those traveling to our institutions to plan ahead for a safe trip.<br>Before heading to an institution for an in-person visit, download the QuickMap app or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/quickmap.dot.ca.gov\/\">https:\/\/quickmap.dot.ca.gov\/<\/a> &nbsp;for up-to-the-minute information on road conditions, traffic, closures, chain control, and more.<br>If an institution must cancel visiting due to conditions such as weather, those with an appointment will receive a notice through the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). If you plan on participating in a walk-in visit, please contact the institution beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-green-600-color has-text-color\">Visitation Dates Affected<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-green-600-color has-text-color\">Visitation Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Inmates housed in quarantine\/outbreak units will be eligible to program if they consent to Point of Contact COVID-19 testing on days 1,3,5 and 7, however this program DOES NOT apply to overnight family visiting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All marriages are in person and require at least one approved visitor witnesses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please visit https:\/\/cdcr.gtlvisitme.com\/app to schedule a visit. In person, visiting is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The request period begins eight days before the visitation day and closes five days before the visitation day. Walk-in appointments are welcome to approved visitors based on availability on first come first serve basis<strong> . Please review the Visiting Rules (Proper attire, Allowable Items, etc.) prior to your appointment.&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RHU<\/strong>, <strong>D5 Housing Unit<\/strong> and All Non-contact visits submit your request via email to: CALVIDEOVISITING@CDCR.CA.GOV from Sunday 7:00 a.m. through Tuesday 11:59 p.m. <strong>RHU<\/strong>,<strong> D5 Housing Unit<\/strong> and all Non-Contact visits are one hour <mark style=\"background-color:#1c1c1c\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">.  REMINDER: PLEASE SUBMIT ONE NON-CONTACT VISIT REQUEST PER EMAIL.<\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:#1c1c1c\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> <\/mark><strong>THERE WILL BE NO WALK-INS FOR NON-CONTACT VISITATIONS<\/strong>. <strong>VISITORS MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT, A 15 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD WILL BE GRANTED, IF VISITORS ARE LATE FOR A NON-CONTACT APPOINTMENT THE VISIT WILL BE DENIED, NO EXCEPTIONS. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday visiting the schedule is open from Thursday 07:00 a.m. &#8211; Tuesday 08:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday visiting the schedule is open from Friday 07:00 a.m. &#8211; Wednesday 08:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunday visiting the schedule is open from Saturday 07:00 a.m. &#8211; Thursday 08:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors will NOT be processed after 4:30 p.m. on Friday. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ATTIRE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are restrictions on what you may wear to a CDCR Institution. In general, there are four rules to remember:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"1-do-not-wear-clothing-that-resembles-the-clothing-that-prisoners-wear\">1. Do not wear clothing that resembles the clothing that prisoners wear<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"2-do-not-wear-clothing-that-resembles-what-custodial-staff-wear\">2. Do not wear clothing that resembles what custodial staff wear<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"3-dress-conservatively-and-modestly-and\">3. Dress conservatively and modestly (i.e., no \u201cexcess\u201d jewelry, layered outfits, shoes without straps around the heel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Do not wear any item that cannot be taken off and will not clear a metal detector (such as an underwire bra or clothing with metal buttons). There are specific restrictions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No strapless, halter, bare midriff, sheer, transparent clothing, plain white or gray t-shirts, no camouflage of any color is allowed, no attire with a bandana pattern of any color.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No skirts, dresses, or shorts that expose more than two inches above the knee front or back <strong>BIKER SHORTS WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No clothing that exposes the breast, genitalia, or buttocks area. If clothing exposes any skin, you will be asked to change, refused entry or terminated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No very tight, form-fitting attire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No wigs, hairpieces, extensions, or other headpieces except for medical reasons and with prior approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No hats or gloves, except with prior approval or in inclement weather<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No disinfectant wipes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MINORS<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children under 18 years old are required to be accompanied by an adult who is an approved visitor. If the minor child(ren) is accompanied by his\/her parent, the only paperwork necessary is a certified copy of the minor child(ren)\u2019s birth certificate. If the minor is accompanied by his\/her legal guardian, a certified copy of the minor child(ren)\u2019s birth certificate and proof of legal guardianship is required. <strong>If the minor child(ren) is accompanied by someone other than his\/her parent or legal guardian, the ORIGINAL CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE must be provided (NO COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED), and the adult must also bring a notarized written consent authorization form&nbsp;signed by the minor child(ren)\u2019s parent or legal guardian expressly giving permission for the minor child(ren) to visit a prisoner. <\/strong>The written consent authorization form must include the name of the prisoner the minor child(ren) is allowed to visit, the name of the person who is authorized to bring the minor child(ren) into the prison, and the date(s) of the proposed visit(s). The notarization must be on the original written consent authorization form and cannot be attached to it. The written consent authorization form to bring in a minor child(ren) must be updated each year. Only quarters or dollar coins will be allowed into the institution. There are change machines located in the visitor processing center for visitors to utilize. These machines only accept $1, $5, $10, and $20 dollar bills. Any bills larger than a $20 will not be accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A small transparent bag (generally 6 in. by 8 in) larger bags may be allowed for visitors with minor children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two keys on a ring with no other attachments. One key may be an electronic key fob.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government issued identification card. May be either Driver License, Identification Card, Passport, or consulate identification card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A comb or brush, non-metallic, no pointed ends or detachable parts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A small unopened pack of tissues or a handkerchief; no bandannas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pair of Prescription glasses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ten photographs, no larger than 8\u2033 by 10\u2033. Photos may be shown to the incarcerated person but must be taken out by the visitor at the end of the visit. Photos cannot be Polaroid and will be viewed by staff during processing to ensure they are appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documents up to 10 pages, no larger than 8 1\/2 \u201d by 11\u2033 (standard typing paper). Docum<br>ents will be viewed by staff during processing to ensure appropriateness. All documents that enter the visiting room must be taken out by the visitor at the end of the visit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For an in-person visit, the department shall allow a visitor with an infant or toddler to bring<br>items, including, but not limited to, the following:<br> A combination of six factory-sealed single-serving packets of baby formula or four<br>transparent plastic baby bottles or cups that are empty or contain premixed formula,<br>milk, almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, lactose-free milk, juice, or water; a breast<br>pump and associated supplies; and refrigerated or frozen breastmilk<br> Six non-glass containers of baby food or snacks in sealed packaging<br> Two plastic spoons<br> Ten disposable diapers<br> One sealed package of baby wipes (Infant\/Toddlers Only)<br> Three changes of clothing<br> Two small blankets<br> Two pacifiers<br> Three burp cloths<br> Diaper cream<br> A baby carrier or wrap<br> A clear plastic diaper bag<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overnight Family Visiting<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Family visiting is conducted Mondays \u2013 Wednesday \u2013 Fridays.
