While CDCR has since used that funding to provide three days of a hybrid of both in-person and video visiting options. This change move\u202fhonors our commitment to provide three days of in-person visiting.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<button class=\"accordion-header\" type=\"button\">When will visiting go fully in-person? <\/button>\n<div class=\"accordion-content\">\n\t\n\n<p>All visiting will be in-person only and weekend video visiting will no longer be available beginning Thursday, July 7, 2023, at all CDCR institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conservation camps will continue hybrid video visiting and in-person on Saturdays and Sundays as they do not have three days of visiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In-person visiting will be offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at all adult institutions and will continue to be scheduled online through the Department\u2019s Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/visitors\/visiting-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facility Status Page<\/a> for CHCF-specific visiting instructions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approved visitors must use the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA) to schedule video visits unless otherwise noted. VSA is easy to use and gives users instant confirmation of their request. Only those individuals who have already been&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/visitors\/inmate-visiting-guidelines\/\">approved as a visitor<\/a>&nbsp;may make an appointment at institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"staggered\">CDCR uses staggered start times for scheduling visits. Visitors will need to schedule visits at the time designated for the institution in which their loved one is housed. Camp visits are scheduled through email or phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approved visitors must go to the Visitation Scheduling website using the following link to open the Visitation Scheduling Application: <a href=\"https:\/\/cdcr.gtlvisitme.com\/app\">https:\/\/cdcr.gtlvisitme.com\/app<\/a>.&nbsp; First-time users must establish an account by selecting the Claim Account button.&nbsp;Accounts can only be claimed using a desktop computer at this time. You will then be asked to provide your first name, last name, and date of birth to validate that you are an approved visitor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You cannot create an account and use the application unless you have already gone through the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/visitors\/inmate-visiting-guidelines\/\"> CDCR visitor approval process.<\/a>&nbsp; Once you have entered the information requested, select Next.&nbsp; You will then be asked to enter in a valid email address that will also serve as your username. After entering in your email, select Next. The next screen will ask you to verify the information you entered and verify you are not a Robot.&nbsp; Once this is completed, select the Finish button to complete the process.&nbsp; You will receive an email with your account information and temporary password.&nbsp; After you receive your temporary password, go back to the website and enter in your email address that was used to set up your account and the temporary password.&nbsp; Select Log on button and it will ask you to create a new password. <strong>It is very important that you remember your password.<\/strong>&nbsp; Select the Update button after entering in your new password and confirming it. This will take you to your Home page on the Visitation Scheduling Application.&nbsp; You will only have to do this process once. &nbsp;After your account is successfully established, you will just simply go to the website and login as an existing user. There are no limits to the amount of visits a visitor may schedule; however, incarcerated persons are only allowed one visit per day, either in-person or video. All visiting will be determined based on availability and health and safety considerations.
