Commissioner Dianne Dobbs

Dianne Dobbs was appointed to the Board of Parole Hearings by Governor Brown on December 8, 2017. Ms. Dobbs has served as a deputy commissioner at the Board of Parole Hearings since 2017. She was an attorney at the California Department of Consumer Affairs from 2007 to 2017 and at the Law Offices of Dianne R. Dobbs from 2006 to 2007. Ms. Dobbs was a staff attorney at Sacramento Child Advocates from 2003 to 2005 and a contract attorney at Meyers Nave from 2001 to 2002. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Golden Gate University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration degree in management from Holy Names University. This position requires Senate confirmation.

Commissioner Dobbs was reappointed by Governor Newson on August 6, 2021.
