Retired Correctional Officer Henry Miranda, 57, passed away suddenly July 29, 2020.
Miranda graduated from the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in November 1997.
He reported to California State Prison, Corcoran, where he spent his entire career. Miranda retired Sept. 14, 2016, after 18 years of service.
After retiring, the California native enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family.
“He is remembered as being a good partner and always a team player,” wrote a fellow CDCR employee.
Miranda is survived by his wife, three sons, two daughters and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his oldest grandson.
