Tracy Damian, retired Correctional Case Records Supervisor, passed away Jan. 9, 2024.
She began her career with the department as a Correctional Supervising Bookkeeping Machine Operator in July 1989 at the California Correctional Institution.
Damian also worked as an Office Assistant and Word Processing Technician II. Later, she promoted to Correctional Case Records Specialist in May 1997.
Then, in August 2003, she promoted to Correctional Case Records Supervisor.
She remained at California Correctional Institution her entire career, retiring Dec. 31, 2023.
“California Correctional Institution sends their thoughts and prayers to Tracy’s family, friends, and coworkers she met along her career,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
