Due to the State budget deficit and the decreased peace officer hiring needs in the Department, the Office of Peace Officer Selection has cancelled all updates for candidates that have expired components. Candidates will be notified via email or by phone. At this time, there are no anticipated academies for at least another year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and encourage you to visit the website periodically for any changes or updates.

If you applied in 2010 or 2011 and clear the Background Investigation process, you will not be scheduled for your Pre-employment Medical or Oral Peace Officer Psychological Evaluation at this time. We will re-access the department's needs in April.
