LAC staff raise $3,200 for Special Olympics

California State Prison, Los Angeles County (LAC), staff came out in full force for the Tip a Cop Special Olympics fundraiser at BJ’s Restaurant in Palmdale.

On June 21, Custody, Mental Health and Medical staff greeted guests, cleaned floors, delivered menus, and walked alongside the restaurant crew.

According to organizers, the generosity was unparalleled and the turnout was amazing. Because of this effort and collaboration, LAC prison staff collected $3,200 in tips and donations for the Special Olympics.
