California State Prison, Los Angeles County, staff came out in full force for the Tip a Cop fundraiser held June 21 at BJ’s Restaurant in Palmdale. The event supports Special Olympics.

Custody, Mental Health and Medical staff greeted guests, cleaned floors, delivered menus, and walked alongside the restaurant crew.

The generosity was unparalleled and the turnout was amazing. Because of this great effort and collaboration, prison staff collected $3,200 in tips and donations to benefit the Special Olympics.
