For more than 62 years, you and your fellow employees have given back to those in need through the Our Promise campaign. In that time, you have raised hundreds of millions of dollars for organizations doing exemplary work to build stronger communities.
It is with great honor that I have the opportunity to represent such a wonderful group of committed California state employees as the 2019 Our Promise Chair. With over 290,000 state employees, we have a tremendous opportunity to make a collective impact on local communities across California with a gift through Our Promise. Together, we are making our state a better and brighter place to call home.
Our work is far from over. I am calling on you – my fellow state employees – to join me to make a commitment to continue supporting Our Promise as we build a brighter future for the Golden State. A donation today means that local nonprofits can have a greater impact in your community and communities across this state.
Through Our Promise, you have the opportunity to support a cause you are passionate about. As you’ll see in the Nonprofit Guide there are more than 2,000 statewide organizations to select from that are supporting our children and schools through education, improving health and human services, and advancing environmental issues.
