Solano raises $1,500 for Special Olympics

California State Prison, Solano, staff helped raise $1,500 for Special Olympics recently through a “dine and donate” event.

The Merchant and Main Grill donated 20 percent of all sales for one night to Special Olympics.

Prison staff encouraged diners to patronize the restaurant on that one night.

CDCR staff are traditionally the biggest law enforcement fundraiser for Special Olympics in Northern California.
