Kern Valley State Prison reported the recent passing of Correctional Officer Danny Lopez.
He began his CDCR in March 2005 the Basic Correctional Officers Academy in Galt.
He was assigned as a Correctional Officer to Kern Valley State Prison in June 2005.
He served 14 years at the prison before his death.
