Valley State Prison reported the passing of Correctional Canteen Manager II Sheila Heffington on February 15, 2020.
She began her CDCR career in July 2001 as a Correctional Supervising Cook at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in Galt.
In April 2004, she transferred to Folsom State Prison as a Correctional Supervising Cook.
In June 2008, she transferred to Central California Women’s Facility as a Materials and Store Manager I. In November 2011, she promoted to a Materials and Store Manager II.
In January 2013, she moved to Valley State Prison as a Prison Canteen Manager II.
