The Chuckawalla Valley State Prison reported the recent passing of retired Correctional Officer Reuben V. Beltran.
He began his CDCR career at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in September 1998.
Upon completion of the academy, he reported to the Correctional Training Facility in October 1998.
He worked at Centinela State Prison and Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility during his career.
He retired from Chuckawalla Valley State Prison in December 2019.
