The California Health Care Facility reported the passing of Correctional Officer Garett Blackwell.
He began his CDCR career as a Correctional Officer at the Sierra Conservation Center in April 2011.
In September 2011, he promoted to the O.H. Close Youth Correctional Facility as a Youth Correctional Counselor.
In August 2013, Officer Blackwell transferred to the California Health Care Facility.
