Jessica Lieland sworn-in at North Kern State Prison

Jessica Lieland, a physician’s assistant at North Kern State Prison, is swapping scrubs for a military uniform. On Tuesday, April 21, she raised her right hand and was sworn-in to the Army National Guard. The ceremony was held at the prison so her coworkers could participate.

Next, Lieland is headed to Army officers school. She joins the ranks of many other CDCR/CCHCS employees who also serve their country while continuing their state careers.
