California Institution for Men Warden (A) Mona D. Houston and the executive team greeted staff on all three watches May 5, gifting them with Chick-Fil-A gift cards.

With the onset of COVID-19, custody and medical staff have risen to the occasion, coming to work and meeting the needs of the institution without hesitation.

Chick-Fil-A Chino Hills Owner/Operator David Dinasan recognized the hard work of CIM staff and generously donated 1,400 gift cards.

During these difficult times, Chick-Fil-A wants to acknowledge staff on the front-lines who work diligently to support our inmate population.

Staff were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected act of kindness and the presence of executive staff who personally thanked them for their service.

Warden (A) Houston said, “Chick-Fil-A’s kindness and commitment to our community is appreciated. They are a contributing factor in keeping our staff motivated. I am immensely proud of the way people have come together to support each other and our institution.”
