Retired Correctional Officer Leroy Cordova passed away November 3, 2021.
He began his CDCR career in January 1993 at the Basic Correctional Officer Academy in Galt. After graduation, he reported to California State Prison, Corcoran.
Officer Cordova retired from CSP-Corcoran in April 2017 after 24 years of service.
“Many of us knew Leroy both personally and professionally. He was a good friend, a good man, and a good human being,” wrote Warden Ken Clark in a memo to staff.
