Longtime DJJ educator Todd Donoho passes away

The Division of Juvenile Justice reported the passing of retired educator Todd Donoho. After 30 years with DJJ, Donoho retired in 2020. He passed away December 24, 2021.

He started his career in October 1992 at O.H. Close.

Donoho also worked at the Northern California Youth Reception Center, Preston School of Industry, and Chaderjian facilities.

“He loved making learning fun and inspiring his students to create brighter futures for themselves. After moving with (his wife) to Minnesota in 2020, he taught at Holy Family Academy, which he greatly enjoyed,” his family said.

A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Covenant Church at 6800 Main Avenue in Orangevale, CA, on January 15, 2022, at 10:30 am.
