Retired Correctional Officer Kenneth Pursell passed away January 21, 2022, according to Pleasant Valley State Prison.
Pursell began his CDCR career at the RA McGee Correctional Training Center in November 1994.
After graduation, he reported to Pleasant Valley State Prison as a correctional officer where he remained until retiring in September 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Mandy, two sons, and his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 am, February 4, at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis.
