Romero Andaya, a stationary engineer, passed away April 16, 2022. He is survived by his spouse and son.
Andaya was previously employed by the Department of State Hospitals from July 1998 until he retired in January 2006. He returned to state employment six months later at Mule Creek State Prison. In 2013, he transferred to California Health Care Facility (CHCF), where he remained until his death.
CHCF coworkers were offered peer support. No funeral information is available at this time.
