Pelican Bay State Prison (PBSP) recruiters joined the Office of Peace Officer Selection for a May 21 Crescent City recruiting event.

The One Stop Recruiting Event in Crescent City featured CDCR staff ready to answer questions from potential candidates. Available staff included those from custody, personnel and information technology.

There were also representatives for the K-9 staff and a local Parole Agent.

Close to 30 potential candidates spoke with background investigators and learned what it’s like to work at PBSP. They were able to submit their online application on site, as well as take the written exam.
