Perry Casillo, retired stationary engineer, passed away June 28, 2022. He began his CDCR career in January 1997 as an auto mechanic at Salinas Valley State Prison.
In 2005, he promoted to maintenance mechanic. Two years later, he promoted to stationary engineer.
Casillo then laterally transferred to Correctional Training Facility in 2012. In December 2020, he retired.
“Perry will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to work with him. Our sincerest condolences are extended to Perry’s family, friends, and loved ones,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
