Frank Lopes, a heavy equipment mechanic at Folsom State Prison, passed away July 12, 2022.
He began his CDCR career in November 2016 at Folsom State Prison, assigned to the garage as a heavy equipment mechanic.
“We wish to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Frank during this difficult time. He will truly be missed by those who knew him,” according to a statement issued by the prison.
He is survived by his mother, his wife and two children.
According to the Lopes family, a celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20, at 11 am at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd., in Santa Clara.
