Frank Camper, retired correctional officer, passed away August 8, 2022. He began his career with the department in February 1991, reporting to Deuel Vocational Institution.
Camper transferred to Mule Creek State Prison in March 2000 where he remained until retiring in December 2011.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Camper family during this time of mourning,” according to a statement issued by Mule Creek prison.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 13, at 11 a.m. at Generation Life Church, 125 Academy Drive, in Sutter Creek.
