Steve Annexstein, a retired correctional officer, passed away September 30, 2022.
He began his department career as a correctional officer in July 1996 at California Correctional Institution (CCI).
Annexstein remained at CCI until retiring in August 2015.
“CCI sends their thoughts and prayers to Steve’s family, friends and coworkers he met along his career,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
