Pelican Bay State Prison Maintenance Mechanic Johnathan Nelson passed away November 1, 2022.
He began his career with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on May 17, 2021, at Pelican Bay State Prison (PBSP) where he remained until his passing.
“Many of us knew Johnathan both personally and professionally. He was a good friend, a good person, and a good human being. He will be missed. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
