So far in 2022, CDCR has donated over $320,000 to community

PVSP's incarcerated population donated nearly $7,000 to the school shooting victims in Uvalde, Texas.

Prison staff and the incarcerated population support the community through volunteering, raising awareness and by opening their wallets. So far in 2022, CDCR has donated over $320,000 to the community. Staff and prison residents have also donated refurbished bicycles, eyeglasses, toys, furniture and food to organizations and needy families.

Fundraising efforts continue in 2022 as CDCR prepares to offer holiday meals and gifts to those in need.

Philanthropic efforts of staff, contractors, volunteers and the incarcerated residents continue to show how CDCR remains community involved.
