CTF appreciation day offers meals for all shifts

The CTF Management team, in coordination with the CTF Employee Action Committee (EAC), hosted their annual staff appreciation day Nov. 3.

Staff were provided with barbecue tri-tip sandwiches, chips, dessert and refreshments during the event.

Managers and supervisors spent the day delivering food to staff on all three watches, personally thanking them for their hard work and dedication. A vegan option was also provided for staff upon request.

PVSP thanks staff for hard work

Pleasant Valley State Prison (PVSP) showed gratitude to staff by hosting a staff appreciation day on October 26, catered by The Teppanyaki Guys.

The day started with vendors setting up booths featuring prizes such as custom wreaths, food baskets, homemade baked goods and gift cards. The event was scheduled to accommodate all three work shifts as PVSP Administrators walked among the crowd of staff praising them for their hard work and commitment to the department.

“Without every employee doing their part here at PVSP, we would never be able to accomplish our daily mission with success. I want staff to know they are the reason we shine and I appreciate all their hard work. It does not go unnoticed,” said acting Warden Tristan Lemon.
