Sandra Diaz, a retired office technician, passed away Feb. 13, 2023.
Diaz began her career with CDCR in December 1986 at the Correctional Training Facility.
She transferred to Salinas Valley State Prison in September 1998. After 36 years of CDCR service, she retired in December 2022.
“She was a hard worker and she was a great partner to have,” according to a statement issued by the prison.
