Robin Hatter, parole agent III, passes away

Robin Hatter, Parole Agent III, passed away March 16, 2023. Hatter began her CDCR career as a parole agent in August 1994 at Ventura Youth Correctional Facility.

She promoted to supervising casework specialist in May 1998 and promoted to parole agent III in July 2006.

Friends and coworkers describe Hatter as “a bright shining light” and will be remembered for her inspiration, positivity and generous spirit. She was a friend, mentor, teacher, motivator, leader, and mother. Hatter devoted her life to her job at Ventura Youth Correctional Facility.

“She will greatly be missed for her accomplishments with our youth and all of the staff. Our sincere condolences go out to all who knew and cared for Robin. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by the Division of Juvenile Justice.
