Sam Xiong, retired Electronics Technician, passed away April 24, 2023.
He began his CDCR career at Avenal State Prison as an Electronics Technician in April 2015.
Xiong remained in his position until retiring in September 2022.
“At the time of his passing, Sam was surrounded by friends and family, including his wife Mai and their three sons,” according to a statement issued by the institution. “Please keep Sam’s family in your thoughts during this difficult time.”
