Rebecca Brandenburg, an associate governmental program analyst (AGPA) at the Correctional Training Facility, passed away July 18, 2023.
She began her CDCR career as an office technician in 2008 at CTF. In 2013, she promoted to staff services analyst. In May 2016, she accepted the AGPA position at CTF, where she remained until her untimely passing.
“Throughout her time with the CTF family, Rebecca was a cherished friend and co-worker to us all. She possessed a keen eye for detail, always striving for accuracy in our emails, memos, and documents while encouraging us to improve,” according to a statement issued by CTF. “Rebecca’s devotion to her family, especially her care for her mother, was truly admirable. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and was ever-ready to extend a helping hand to others. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, loved ones, and friends during this difficult time.”
According to her coworkers, “her loss leaves a significant void in our workplace.”
