ASP incarcerated donate to veterans, children

A check made out to the Boys and Girls Club for nearly $1,700 signed by the inmate population of Avenal State Prison (ASP).
ASP donated $1,691 to the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno.

The incarcerated population at Avenal State Prison (ASP), rallied together to donate over $4,000 to charities serving children and veterans.

Determined to make a difference, the ASP incarcerated population chose to donate to Central Valley Veterans and the Boys and Girls Club of Fresno.

For veterans, the donation helps with medical care, food, clothing and other supportive programs. Meanwhile, the Boys and Girls Club provides a safe haven for youth to learn, grow and thrive.

ASP and its incarcerated population are proving that caring for our future while honoring our past knows no boundaries.
