Pleasant Valley State Prison (PVSP) recruiters recently attended the 2023 Big Fresno Fair in Fresno, educating fairgoers about CDCR job opportunities.

Overall, 600,000 people pass through the gates each year expecting big fun at the Central Valley’s biggest event.

The Big Fresno Fair is the fourth largest fair in California. The fair reflects Fresno County’s agricultural heritage and highlights the artistry within our community.

People from all backgrounds, ethnicities and beliefs come together to celebrate this long-standing annual tradition.

PVSP recruiters took full advantage of this opportunity to reach out to the community. They used the fair as an opportunity to educate the public while generating interest in the possibilities a career in CDCR provides.
