Overall, 600,000 people pass through the gates each year expecting big fun at the Central Valley’s biggest event.

The Big Fresno Fair is the fourth largest fair in California. The fair reflects Fresno County’s agricultural heritage and highlights the artistry within our community.

People from all backgrounds, ethnicities and beliefs come together to celebrate this long-standing annual tradition.

PVSP recruiters took full advantage of this opportunity to reach out to the community.

They used the fair as an opportunity to educate the public while generating interest in the possibilities a career in CDCR provides.

PVSP recruiters at the Big Fresno Fair included:

  • Jason Martin, AA/PIO, Correctional Lieutenant, Recruitment Team Lead
  • Samnang Chan, Correctional Officer
  • Josh Gutierrez, Correctional Officer
  • Gerianne Salcedo, Correctional Sergeant
  • James Falcon, Correctional Sergeant
  • Cristal Irvin, Correctional Sergeant
  • Itzia Zamarripa, Correctional Sergeant
