Patrick Young, a retired Supervisor of Building Trades, passed away Nov. 1, 2023. He worked for the department from 1996 until retiring in 2013.
He began his career with the department as a Plumber II in July 1996 at Riverside II. He promoted to Plumber III in May 2000 at Sierra Conservation Center.
In November 2008, he promoted to Supervisor of Building Trades. He remained at Sierra Conservation Center until he retired in November 2013.
“We extend our most sincere condolences to the Young family, loved ones and friends. At this profound time of mourning, please keep the Young family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
