Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO), Southern Region, in partnership with Immanuel House hosted the Fall Festival and Reentry Resource Fair. The annual outreach event at the Riverside Parole Office featured 48 community resource providers and over 150 attendees.
The event featured speeches from Ward 3 Council Member Ronaldo Fierro and Nikkole Melgoza, Staff Services Manager II from Division of Rehabilitative Programs. Also in attendance included Ward 2 Council Member Clarissa Cervantes, and Imelda Perez and Danielle Verber, Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP) analysts.
Immanuel House donated turkeys and food boxes with three months’ worth of groceries to 50 justice-involved families in need. They also collaborated with Morongo Casino to provide lunch to the first 100 event participants.
Parole staff from Riverside and San Bernardino Parole Complex worked with with volunteers from Immanuel House to support this event.
“A special thank you to all the parole agents, parole service associates, and front office clerical support staff for their efforts in helping to make this event a success,” according to organizers.
