Vera Cholko, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) at Pleasant Valley State Prison, passed away Dec. 20, 2023.
She began her state career in April 2009 at Coalinga State Hospital as a LCSW. In July 2015, she was hired as a LCSW at Pleasant Valley State Prison under California Correctional Health Care Services.
She remained in this position until her recent passing.
