California Rehabilitation Center at Norco, along with the Amity Foundation, recently hosted a provider resource and reentry fair.
Resource and reentry providers from across California attended, providing resources and services to over 600 incarcerated people.
The attendees were excited and encouraged to interact with representatives regarding housing, academic, vocational, mental health, substance use treatment, medically assisted treatment and employment resources.
The August California Rehabilitation Center resource reentry fair empowered the incarcerated attendees to retrieve valuable information and address their concerns with professionals.
The event was a representation of the Division of Rehabilitative Program’s mission to facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals in our care back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug-free, healthy, and employable members of society. This is accomplished by providing resources in a safe and humane environment.
