Charles “Chuck” Havron, a retired correctional officer and US Navy veteran, passed away Nov. 11, 2024. He was 79 years old.

Havron, a California native, began his correctional career as an officer in June 1984 at California Correctional Institution (CCI) in Tehachapi.
He remained at the institution until he retired in April 2008, later relocating to Arkansas.
“CCI sends their thoughts and prayers to Chuck’s family, friends and coworkers he met along his career,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Traskwood, Arkansas.
