Raol Rimorin, a retired correctional officer, passed away Feb. 11, 2025. He worked for CDCR from 2007 until 2020.

Rimorin began his career with the department as a cadet at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in April 2007. After his graduating the Basic Correctional Officer Academy, he reported to the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran.
He remained at the institution until retiring in August 2020.
“Officer Rimorin was a very respected officer and will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know and work with him. Our sincerest condolences to the Rimorin family,” according to a statement issued by SATF.
Viewing will be 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 2. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 3. Both will be held at the Chapel of the Light, 1620 W. Belmont Ave., Fresno.
