Two correctional officers were injured when they responded to an attack by an incarcerated person against a clinic officer, who was also injured, Tuesday, March 4, at 8:24 a.m. at Pelican Bay State Prison.

One of the responding officers was transported to an outside medical facility for a higher level of care and was released that afternoon. The other responding officer and the clinic officer were evaluated by on-site medical staff. All are doing OK at this time.
