At the recent Medal of Valor ceremony, CDCR and CCHCS honored the memory of staff who passed away with the annual In Memoriam video.
The video honors the memory of those lost between September 2024 and August 2025.
Remembering Agent Byrd
A special segment was devoted to Parole Agent Joshua Byrd, killed in the line of duty. Members of his family were also in attendance at the Medal of Valor ceremony.
