DAPO Los Angeles parole operation leads to six arrests

The Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) led a compliance and enforcement operation of supervised persons in Los Angeles County, resulting in six arrests.

DAPO’s Community Compliance Unit and the Division of Training Unit were joined by the Los Angeles Police Department and Sheriff’s Department.

Cash, weapons and drugs were seized during the DAPO Los Angeles operation.

During the June 10 Los Angeles operation, DAPO agents made six arrests for various parole and law violations, including:

  • possession of alcohol, pornography and drug paraphernalia
  • weapons such as knives, a switchblade, dagger, brass knuckles
  • possession of controlled substance for sale
  • violation of gang associatio
  • and outstanding warrants.

Prior to the operation, seven supervised persons on the compliance check list were arrested. Meanwhile, eight additional were removed due to ongoing investigations by the police department.

Overall, 43 supervised persons were found to be in compliance during the operation.
