The Chula Vista Police Department worked with CDCR parole agents to conduct compliance checks during Operation Ground Truth.
The Aug. 13 compliance checks found the police department’s Street Team Gang Suppression Unit and parole agents successfully contacting three targeted parole supervised persons.
As a result of the compliance checks, two were arrested for violations discovered during the operation. Additional information or criminal intelligence developed during the operation was documented. The info will then be forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement or investigative personnel for follow-up.

The operation helps ensure individuals currently under parole supervision are complying with the terms and conditions of their release. It also addresses criminal activity discovered during compliance checks.
The operation provided Chula Vista police officers and CDCR parole agents with an opportunity to work collaboratively, share information and address parole violations and other criminal activity affecting the community.
