Steve Scaduto, retired correctional supervising cook, passed away Feb. 26, 2020. For nearly three decades, he worked at California Conservation Corps, Pine Grove Youth Conservation Camp, Preston School of Industry and Mule Creek State Prison.
He started his state career as a cook with the California Conservation Corps in March 1985.
In September 1985, he moved to the Pine Grove Youth Conservation Camp. He transferred to Preston Industrial School in March 1986 as a cook.
He transferred to Mule Creek State Prison in March 1988, retiring in June 2013.
