The family reported the passing of retired Psychiatric Technician Antoinette “Ann” Block. She passed away Dec. 9, 2020.
She began her 33-year state career at Stockton Developmental Center State Hospital. Years later, when she moved down to southern California, she transferred to Metropolitan State Hospital.
As state hospitals were closed, Block went to work at the Karl Holton Youth Correctional Facility.
She retired in 2014 from Mule Creek State Prison.
Block is survived by two daughters and a son, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
