Mount Tam College shows appreciation to LAC

Staff at California State Prison, Los Angeles (LAC), recently received tangible appreciation from Mount Tamalpais College.

LAC staff appreciation also included incarcerated people getting goody bags.
Care package for LAC’s incarcerated population.

To show their appreciation, the college sponsored two food trucks to satisfy the appetites of first, second, and third watch LAC staff. 

Jody Lewen, Mount Tamalpais president, oversaw the event, which also included more than 3,000 care packages for the incarcerated population.

Many staff expressed their gratitude. Warden RC Johnson and Chief Deputy Warden Donald Ulstad presented President Lewen with a Warden’s Challenge Coin and a Chief Deputy Warden’s Challenge coin.
